Introductions
Every March since 2016, the Department of Cultural Affairs, Taoyuan, has launched exhibitions on the subject of women's art. March 2019 saw the opening of the "Germinate, Connect, Extend-2019 Taoyuan Female Art Exhibition", curated by Professor Chang Hwei-Lan, an artist and curator. The 11 artists, all of whom have a regional relationship with Taoyuan, are connected here in this exhibition with their artworks representing the power and fascination of women's unity.
