The Main Museum of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) is still under construction, currently yet to be open to the public.

Taoyuan Children’s Art Center sits at No. 90, Sec. 2, Gaotie S. Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City, nearby the Taoyuan Sports Park Station (A19) of Taoyuan Metro System. The admission fees are as follows:

Groups of 20 persons or more, in which those that meet the criteria of concession tickets may purchase group concession tickets.

Free Admission

1. Individuals under the age of 18.

2. Individuals aged 65 or above.

3. Individuals with disabilities, along with one guardian or necessary accompanying person.

4. Individuals holding a low-income household certificate of Taoyuan City

5. Individuals that lead a tour group and hold a tour guide license issued by the Tourism Administration, MOTC.

6. Individuals presenting a membership card from the International Council of Museums (ICOM), the American Alliance of Museums (AAM), or the Chinese Association of Museums (CAM).

7. Volunteers presenting their Honorary Volunteer Service Cards.

8. Public/Private schools of all levels, or Art-related departments in colleges/universities, in Taoyuan City, that book their visits to, and are approved by, the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center (“the Art Center” hereinafter) for the purpose of off-campus education or academic exchange.

9. Groups of 10 or more citizens of Taoyuan City, or individuals with their Taoyuan Citizen Cards, who book their visits to the Art Center via the District Offices of Taoyuan City and are approved by the Art Center.

10. Agencies (Institutions) of governments at all levels or groups related to art or culture organizing art-related activities that book their visits to and approved by the Art Center.

11. Periods of setup/takedown at the Art Center, museum anniversary celebrations, art festivals, International Museum Day, or other special occasions with art-related activities, for which the Art Center declares free admission.

 Note:

1. Individuals that have purchased concession tickets, or are free to admission, are required to present relevant documents to validate their identities to enjoy the service.

2. The tickets listed in the table above do not include the tickets sold for special exhibitions in partnership with private entities.

 

The Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center sits at No. 100, Daren Rd., Dayuan Dist., Taoyuan City, nearby the Linghang Station (A17) of Taoyuan Metro System. The admission fees are as follows:

By Car:

Exit from the Dazhu Interchange (bound for Qingpu & THSR) on the Airport Branch, National Freeway No. 2, continue to No. 90, Sec. 2, Gaotie S. Rd. (nearby the Qingtang Park), and there you are.

Public parking spaces and other parking lots are available around the Art Center.

Public Transportation:

By Bus – High Speed Rail South Wende Road Intersection: Take Route L605 or L605A and go on foot for 2 minutes after getting off the bus. Qingtang Park: Take Route L207, L207A or 217 Chingpu Circle Line and go on foot for 6 minutes after getting off the bus. By Taoyuan Metro System – A19 Taoyuan Sports Park Station: Go on foot for 6 minutes after exiting the station.

By Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR) – Exit 7 of THSR Taoyuan Station: go on foot for 20 minutes after exiting the station.

By Car

Exit from the Dazhu Interchange (bound for Qingpu & THSR) on the National Freeway No. 2, turn right on Sec. 2, Dacheng Rd., and there you are.

Public parking spaces and other parking lots are available around the Art Center.

By Public Transportation: THSR/Metro/Bus

Taiwan High Speed Rail (THSR): Exit from the THSR Taoyuan Station and go on foot for about 20 minutes, or make transfer to A17 Linghang Station of the Taoyuan Metro System and go on foot for about 7 minutes.

Taoyuan Metro: Take the Taoyuan Metro System to A17 Linghang Station and go on foot about 8 minutes.

Bus (Dayuan International Senior High School): Take Route 206B, 206C, 208, 208A, 302, 707, or 5089 and get off for a walk for about 3 minutes.

The Main Museum of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) is still under construction, currently yet to be open to the public. The Taoyuan Children’s Art Center, officially inaugurated in April 2024, sits at No. 90, Sec. 2, Gaotie S. Rd., Zhongli Dist., Taoyuan City. The Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, officially inaugurated in October 2021, sits at No. 100, Daren Rd., Dayuan Dist., Taoyuan City.

Go to Taoyuan Children’s Art Center by Car:

Exit from the Dazhu Interchange (bound for Qingpu & THSR) on the Airport Branch, National Freeway No. 2, continue to No. 90, Sec. 2, Gaotie S. Rd. (nearby the Qingtang Park), and there you are.

Go to the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center by Car:

National Freeway No. 2: Exit from the Dazhu Interchange (bound for Qingpu & THSR) on the Airport Branch→turn right on Dacheng Rd.→Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center.

Public parking spaces and other parking lots around the Art Center are available for visitors.

 

Parking for the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center:
Public parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center.
There are 6 paid parking lots in the vicinity:

  1. YOU PARKING Zhongli Wenkang Parking Lot (500m): 115 parking spaces.
  2. TIMES Zhongli Ciashi Road Parking Lot (800m): 180 parking spaces.
  3. Deervia Yongneng Parking Lot (900m): 92 parking spaces.
  4. Times Zhongli Huanxi 2nd Street Parking Lot (700m): 180 parking spaces.
  5. Global Mall Parking Lot (700m): 443 parking spaces.
  6. Dingfeng Elephant Qingshan Parking Lot (1400m): 29 parking spaces.

 

Parking for the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center:
Public parking spaces are available in the vicinity of the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center.
There are 3 paid parking lots in the vicinity:

  1. Temporary Parking Lot opposite to the A17 Metro Station (450M): 91 parking spaces.
  2. Taoyuan Sunlight Arena Underground Parking Lot (600M): 260 parking spaces.
  3. KIRI International Indigenous Cultural and Creative Park Underground Parking Lot (450M): 98 parking spaces.

If you want to participate in the events held by the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA), you may visit the Facebook Fan Page of TMoFA or Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, the official website of TMoFA, or the registration portal created by TMoFA for registration.

Founded in April 2024, the Children's Art Library is on the third floor of the Taoyuan Children's Art Center.
Opening Hours

Wednesday to Monday, 9:30 AM to 5 PM with the last entrance at 4:30 PM.

Closing

Tuesday and other announced closing days.

 If you would like to apply for the guided tour services from the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA), please go to the official website of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts> Visit>Guided Tour Application.

(1) Group Guided Tours
1.Scheduled guided tours are available from Tuesday to Friday during each exhibition period, in line with the exhibitions at the Museum.
2.Reservation in advance is required. Please make reservations online 10 to 7 days before your visit through the “Guided Tour Application” on TMoFA’s official website, per the Museum’s guidelines.

(2) Reply in Confirmation:
1.It takes approximately 3 business days for the Museum to process applications.
2.If the application is approved, the Museum will reply with a confirmation letter via fax or email. The reservation process is successful only upon receipt of the confirmation letter from the Museum.

(3) Application Successful:
1.On the day of your visit, please present the confirmation letter at the “Information Desk” to check in for your visit.

Our collection includes classic picture books, storybooks, pop-up books, and art books designed to engage children's senses. Visitors can read them on-site, and parents are encouraged to read with their children.

 

We also host themed exhibitions and reading activities to inspire a love for books and art. By seeing the world from a child's perspective, we aim to make reading fun and promote art knowledge.

A: The collection is for reading in the Children’s Art Library only, with material query services available. Please refer to the Instructions for Reading in the Library for relevant regulations.

Information on internship application of each term, such as internship guidelines, application forms, and the annual interns application form for each department, will be disclosed on the official website of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA) > Learning > as well as on the Facebook Fan Page. The period for application submission in hardcopy, interview list, admission list, and internship period are subject to the announcements of the Museum each year. For anyone that is interested in applying for an internship at the Museum, please pay attention to the announcements on the official website or follow our Facebook Fan Page to keep an eye on relevant updates.

Currently, TMoFA has its volunteer squadrons at the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center and the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, respectively. Recruitment information for each volunteer squadron will be disclosed on TMoFA’s official website and Facebook Fan Page. You may go to our official website > Volunteer Recruitment > Online Application to sign up for volunteering. The Museum will then contact you.

The Main Museum of the Taoyuan Museum of Fine Arts (TMoFA), located in Qingpu, is not open to the public yet.

If you lose anything at the Taoyuan Children’s Art Center, you can inquire and claim it at the Information Desk in the lobby on the 1st floor.

If you lose anything at the Hengshan Calligraphy Art Center, you can inquire and claim it at the Information Desk.

In addition, the Museum will disclose the list of lost and found items from the previous month on the Latest News on the official website on the 10th of each month. The Museum will keep the lost items for 6 months, before handling thereof in accordance with pertaining regulations.
