Where the Adventure Begins! Taoyuan Children's Art Center Parallel Exhibition- Arrival Cities
We live in a big city where high-speed railways are built, planes are often seen taking off and landing, and where many roads converge. These densely packed pathways, like blood vessels, bring busy people from different places to this city. Suddenly, in the middle of a lovely green space near a pond, a building that looks just like a sandwich or maybe a spaceship pops up. It turns out to be the new Taoyuan Children’s Art Center that will make a difference to the City!
What is a Children’s Art Center? What can we find inside? How will the city change along with the birth of such an art space? “Where the Adventure Begins! Taoyuan Children’s Art Center Inaugural Exhibition” is located in Qingpu, and its parallel exhibi-tion is located in Bade. The exhibition includes four themes: “Container City,” “Map City,” “Nature City,” and “Arrival Cities,” inviting 12 artists to create fantastical worlds and challenging tasks. You are invited to roll up your sleeves, observe our city through art, feel and think freely, embark on an exploration and adventure in the Children’s Art Center through courage and creativity!
