The Taoyuan Children’s Art Center is a giant transparent box made of white space and sloping hills, with colors that change naturally as the sunlight and moonlight move. Imagine the center transforming into a glowing light box in the city, inviting you to explore an art-filled world of lines, geometric shapes, scientific images, and optics.

“Light Box Wonders” is an inspiring optical color education program created for children by the international art team Carnovsky. The exhibition is based on three main themes: “How Vision Works,” “How Colors Are Formed,” and “How Light and Colors Are Formed.” Through hands-on light and shadow experiments and interactive activities in aesthetic education, children will learn about the principles of color in printing and optics, and discover the relationship between vision and light.

As children follow Carnovsky’s scientific images, they will embark on a dazzling visual journey. Whether it’s lifelike wild animals, lush natural landscapes, or breathtaking scenes of soaring above the clouds and diving into the deep sea, these wonders are hidden within layers of overlapping visuals, waiting to be uncovered.
